What are the Similarities and Differences Between Top Stock Picks and Jason Bond Picks?
Top Stock Picks and Jason Bond Picks have a lot of similarities, in fact, many of the major elements are the same. When it comes to providing expert video lessons, educational webinars, detailed watch lists, and real-time alerts, both Top Stock Picks and Jason Bond Picks deliver. But it’s important to note that there are a couple key differences (don’t worry – we’ll get to those later).
Jeff Bishop is currently the lead trader at Top Stock Picks (since 2016) and Jason Bond is the lead trader at Jason Bond Picks (since 2011) – there’s an obvious relationship between the two traders. As a subscriber to both services for over three years, I can tell you that Jason Bond often cites Jeff Bishop as his mentor, and because of the alliance they share, it’s easy for them to work together to help subscribers thoroughly educate themselves and ultimately capture profits on Wall Street.

There are only a couple major differences to consider between Top Stock Picks and Jason Bond Picks. First, TSP has a primary focus on trading Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) while JBP has a primary focus on stocks. And second, TSP only offers one standard membership option while JBP offers three separate programs depending on individual preference and lifestyle. So let’s breakdown each platform in detail.
Overview of Jason Bond Picks – Jason Bond, Small Cap Stocks, Day & Swing Trading:
As mentioned earlier, one of the major focal points that sets Jason Bond Picks apart is the fact that there are three programs being offered separately under the JBP umbrella: Day & Swing Trading, Long Term Trading, and Millionaire Roadmap. Depending on preference, lifestyle, financial situation, and commitment-level, subscribers can choose the program that best fits their individual needs.
Day & Swing Trading: This is Jason Bond’s most popular service consisting of an extensive video library, active chat room, daily watch lists, and real-time alerts. For those so inclined to day trade, day trading education and alerts are entirely chat-based. There are a handful of chat moderators sharing ideas throughout the day, each with their own unique approach, but Luke Murray is the head day trader who takes part in about 10-20 fast-paced trades each day on average. Swing trades, on the other hand, are alerted within chat, text, and email since they’re slower-paced as opposed to day trades. This is Jason Bond’s bread and butter – “5-10% profit per trade within 1-4 days, rinse and repeat”. [An Inside Look at the Jason Bond Picks Private Chat Room]
Long Term Trading: This service was added in 2015 to appeal to individuals that find the Day & Swing Trading service to be too fast-paced. Instead of 1-4 day hold times, the goal is 1-4 week hold times. As a result, entries and exits are much more flexible. The staple of this service is an exceptionally detailed weekly watch list (delivered each Monday morning) that includes a breakdown of overall market performance, open positions, and watch list items. Millionaire Roadmap: This is Jason Bond’s all-inclusive mentor service. Subscribers not only receive the typical Day & Swing Trading and Long Term Trading subscriptions, but additional benefits as well, including a live stream of his E-Trade account during market hours, a private chat room, daily video watch lists before market open, daily video wrap-ups after market close, live trading sessions with Jason Bond/Luke Murray, every educational DVD he’s ever created at your disposal, and conferences for the opportunity to meet him and his team personally. Jeff Bishop is a “mastermind” within this service in which he shares his options strategies with interested members – his options account also streams live during market hours. Overall, this service is the ultimate in education and transparency. [Learn More About Jeff Bishop’s Involvement With Jason Bond Picks]
Overview of Top Stock Picks – Jeff Bishop, Exchange Traded Funds, Millionaire Roadmap Involvement:
Top Stock Picks isn’t broken down into multiple offerings like Jason Bond Picks – it’s only 1 service. The unique aspect of TSP is Jeff Bishop’s primary focus on Exchange Traded Funds as opposed to individual stocks. In general, ETF’s trade much like stocks do, and the popular ones are extremely liquid. With this ETF approach, you can never blame Jeff for “moving the market” with his alerts, which would be a common occurrence with low-volume stocks. Overall, Jeff Bishop provides in-depth watch lists on a daily basis that consistently prepare his subscribers for profitable trading opportunities.
One more point worth noting is that Jeff Bishop just recently took over duties of the Top Stock Picks newsletter in June 2016 as Steve LeBlanc chose to pursue a career opportunity in the non-profit industry. So don’t be surprised if you find various learning materials and video lessons within the Top Stock Picks platform created by Steve LeBlanc. He was a tremendous teacher and trader, and even launched his own mentor service (TSP Premium Live) which was similar to Jason Bond’s Millionaire Roadmap before relinquishing duties. Unfortunately, that program no longer exists without Steve LeBlanc.
As a side note: If you’re looking to become a Millionaire Roadmap member with a Top Stock Picks membership included, that option is offered occassionally – I’d recommend joining each platform’s free email list for offers.
So Which Service is Better: Top Stock Picks or Jason Bond Picks?
In the end, I feel that JBP’s Day & Swing Trading, Long Term Trading, and Top Stock Picks (as a singular service) are all equal in quality. Whichever one you pick depends mainly on personal preference and lifestyle. Do you want to trade stocks or ETF’s? What’s your ideal time horizon? How many watch lists do you have time to read each week? Are you interested in interacting within a chat room on a daily basis?
But what’s clear to me is that the Millionaire Roadmap stands out when compared to all of these offerings. Both Jason Bond as well as Jeff Bishop are responsible for the major success of this program. In all honesty, no other newsletter even comes close to matching the education and transparency that it provides. There’s no better way to learn than watching and trading alongside multiple experts on a daily basis. It’s no wonder a top-performing Millionaire Roadmap student, Kyle Dennis, was able to turn $15,000 into nearly $2,000,000 in less than three years.
The Millionaire Roadmap program is simply unparalleled by any other stock trading education service. And best of all, Jason Bond continues to add more value to it as time goes on at no additional cost to current members.
